Medical Assisting

Medical Assisting students receive training in the clinical and administrative sides of a medical office. Concentrated courses in pharmacology, anatomy and physiology, and medical laboratory procedures prepare students to begin a career as a medical assistant. King's College students learn in classrooms designed to simulate a functional medical office, including commonly found equipment.
Program Highlights
8 week externship in a medical setting. Graduates can take the National Certification Examination to become a Certified Medical Assistant.
